Amid the recent spate of attacks on popular websites, millions of Twitter users have found themselves swamped by tweets about acai berry supplements. This latest piece of acai berry news is giving the so-called miracle berry a bad name that is quite undeserved. What happened was that on December 12, 2010 the celebrity gossip site provider Gawker Media suffered a security breach on its servers. Gawker’s online properties include high-traffic sites like Gawker, Lifehacker, Gizmodo, Kotaku, Jezebel and io9. Members of those sites should change their passwords immediately. If they have registered at other sites with the same login details, they need to choose new login information there too. Read more here
