The hilarious website, www.zug.com, recently held its Acai Berry Superdrink Challenge, which I did not find out about until the contest was over. They wanted to come up with a tasty, healthy energy drink involving the acai berry. The name of the drink had to be funny as well.
They offered a prize of $250 for the contestant who scored highest in the three categories of health benefits, taste, and having a funny name.
Some of the craziest ingredients in the drinks included, 1 dreadlock cut from an actual hippy, steak, and bacon. The winner had a drink called “Acai-Oxidently”, which I still don’t see where the humor is in the name, but hey I wasn’t judging the contest. The link to the contest is here: www.zug.com/herbal/acai/
