Acai berry information, articles, places to buy, and more!

Just when everyone thought that acai berries were the latest craze, along came resveratrol. I’m already starting to see the same free trial type offers for resveratrol that took place with acai berries. It is now sold as a nutritional supplement derived from Japanese knotweed since this is a cheap way to extract the substance. Keep reading…

Bottle of Organic Sambazon Acai JuiceToday, I was walking around Publix (it is a large grocery store chain mainly in Florida).  As I walked past the juice aisle, a bright purple and green bottle was staring me in the face.  This bottle was none other than the highly coveted acai berry juice made by Sambazon.  For someone like myself who promotes acai berry extracts, it’s embarrasing that I have never even tried the juice before.  Today was going to be that day. As acai berries are being promoted by acai peddlers across the Internet, one unnamed acai company decided to offer their own employees their free acai berry trial program as a bonus for their hard work. The hilarious website, www.zug.com, recently held its Acai Berry Superdrink Challenge, which I did not find out about until the contest was over. They wanted to come up with a tasty, healthy energy drink involving the acai berry. The name of the drink had to be funny as well. Keep reading…

I’ve always been interested in acai for its high ORAC levels (this is the measure of its antioxidant capacity). Many manufacturers also promote its weight loss benefits, but I’ve never known for sure if you can really lose weight with acai. I decided to search the web for any confirmed studies or well-known experts that confirm or deny this claim. Keep reading…

You may have heard of the acai berry health craze through television, the Internet, and health stores.  Manufacturers of acai products promote the berry’s health benefits such as promoting weight loss, detoxification, and enhanced energy.  Many of the articles on acai repeat the same information and health benefits over and over (I’m guilty of this as well in some of my articles).  Well, to make up for this, here are some interesting facts about acai that you may not have known: Keep reading…

1. You google the phrase “how to inject acai berries.” Keep reading…
